About Open Source Hardware Reviews:
The goal of this site is to provide helpful reviews of products that are useful to the open source community. The products reviewed may be entirely open-source, they may only implement open source software, or they may be parts that can be used in creating new products.
Keep in mind that open source does not necessarily mean free. Many companies are producing products and making their source readily available, but still maintain copyright restrictions on the use of code. These will be included here because I’m sure many people will be interested in modifying the code for personal use.
All that said, my real goal here is to provide something beneficial for the community. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I am open to suggestions for products to review.
